Continental to Fly 787 to New Zealand

The Boeing 787 Dreamliner has yet to enter commercial service, but Continental Airlines has just become the first airline to announce where the much-anticipated new jet will fly.
Continental says it will begin flying the 787 between its Houston hub and Auckland, New Zealand, beginning in November of next year.
The announcement of the route is noteworthy for a number of reasons.

A Continental Airlines flight made an unscheduled landing this morning in North Carolina after a bomb threat was made.
Continental flight 3006, was going from Houston Intercontinental Airport, destined for Washington Dulles Airport.
