“America’s Friendliest Airport” is the nation’s eighth-busiest airport, as measured by the number of passengers serving the facility.  Travelers passing through this busy Desert Southwest hub will receive a friendly welcome from the Sky Harbor Navigators.  This crew of volunteers, decked out in purple uniforms, is your helping hand to navigate your way through the airport.

GETTING AROUND THE AIRPORT

If you need assistance finding directions, ask any of the Sky Harbor Navigator volunteers for help.

Airport shuttle buses run between the terminals and the economy parking lots.  Shuttles are free and run every 7 to 10 minutes.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION

Rental Cars
The Rental Car Center is located just west of the West Economy Parking. Rental Car Shuttles run every 5-10 minutes from the baggage claim levels of each terminal.

Public Transportation
There’s a free shuttle to the METRO light rail station at 44th Street and Washington, on the north side of the airport.  Additionally, Sky Harbor is served by 3 METRO bus lines which stop at the terminals: Route 13, 15, and 40.

Taxis
Three taxi companies are contracted to pick up passengers at Sky Harbor: AAA Cab, Allstate, and Discount. $5 first mile, $2.10 per add’l mile. Each hour of traffic delay is $21. Minimum fare of $15. Surcharge of $1 per airport trip.  Click here for more information.

Limousines
For-hire limos are available on the south curbs of terminals 3 & 4 and just east of the north curb of Terminal 2.  Seven companies are contracted to pick up passengers at Sky Harbor (click here for a list). Rates vary depending on destination, but typically range from $35 to $85.

Shuttles/Vans
SuperShuttle runs 24 hours a day with vans departing every 15 minutes from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.  Call (602) 244-9000 or click here for more info.

PARKING

Choose from short-term garages at the terminals ($4 per hour, $25 daily max), or one of the airport’s economy lots.
The West and East Economy Lots, as well as the Terminal 2 upper level Economy Lot are $4 per hour ($8 daily max).
The East Economy Garages A & B are $4 per hour ($10 daily max).
Shuttle buses run every 7-10 minutes to and from all economy lots to the terminals.
Cell Phone Waiting Lots – there are two free lots, located east of Terminal 4 and west of Terminal 2.

SHOPPING/DINING

Travelers will find a wide range of stores and restaurants throughout the three terminals.

One of the more unique finds that may surprise Sky Harbor visitors is a store that specializes in gift items that cost just $10: Bijoux Terner.  They’re located in Terminals 3 and 4.

WI-FI AND OTHER SERVICES

WiFi: Sky Harbor offers complimentary Wi-Fi access throughout the airport.

Pet Parks: Sky Harbor offers three areas for pets to stretch their legs, have a drink of water and answer nature’s call.  The Pet Patch is located just east of Terminal 2, the Paw Pad is just outside the west doors of Terminal 3, and the Bone Yard is on the west side of Terminal 4, just outside the baggage claim area.
