Orlando International Airport is the busiest airport in the state of Florida. In 2008, it served nearly 36 million passengers.
The airport’s unusual call sign – MCO – is derived from its original name, McCoy Air Force Base.
Orlando serves as a hub for AirTran, and is a major focus city for both JetBlue and Southwest Airlines.

GETTING AROUND THE AIRPORT
Golf carts are not available for transporting passengers. In the Main Terminal passengers may use the elevators, escalators and moving walkways to minimize walking distances. The roll-on/roll-off AGT (train) then transports passengers between the Main Terminal and the Airside Terminals (Gates Areas).
PARKING
MCO offers a number of parking options.
The Cell Phone Waiting Lot: Free of charge.
Satellite Parking: $4 for first 3 hrs., or $10 per day.
*Note: Red and Gold Satellite lots are open only when Blue lot is full.
Terminal Garage: $1 per 20 min, $17 daily max.
Terminal Top Parking: $1 per 20 min, $17 daily max.
Valet Parking: $4 first 30 min, $1 per add’l 30 min. $25 daily max.
