Dallas Love Field is located six miles northwest of downtown Dallas. It was the primary airport serving the city until the opening of Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) in 1974.
Dallas-based Southwest Airlines maintains its Dallas focus city operations at Love Field. Continental Connection (to Houston) and Delta Connection (to Memphis) also fly out of Love Field.
