Turtle Kicked Off Plane

A stressful ordeal has ended on a happy note for a little turtle who was kicked off an AirTran flight in Atlanta on Tuesday.
Neytiri, a red-eared slider, has been reunited with her owner, 10-year old Carley Helm, and her family back in Milwaukee.
The ordeal began hen Carley and her two older sisters were on board AirTran flight 421, heading home to Milwaukee after visiting their father in Atlanta.
76-Year Old Airline Unionization Rule Overturned

A decades-old rule is being thrown out by the National Mediation Board, as it changes the rules for unionization in the airline industry.
The board is overturning a 76-year-old rule that required the votes of the majority of workers for a unionization drive to succeed.
Now, union organizers will instead require a simple majority of airline employees who cast ballots.
It’s a move that was expected after the Obama administration gave the panel a 2 to 1 Democratic majority last year. But the changing the long-standing rule has many within the airline industry crying foul.
Southwest, Alaska Turn Profits; Continental Posts Loss
